Composition very beautiful and striking with flower colors, it seems to me, however, note that the MAF falls on the central leaf rather than on the water lily as it should be ;-)

For 66tasca
it seems to me, however, note that the MAF falls on the central leaf rather than on the water lily as it should be

In fact, in the picture posted the MAF appears to be more centered on the leaf ....
I recovered the original shot that I show belowwithout being post produced, and the MAF is (I think!) correct and therefore the explanation of this sort of "matte effect" of the water lily is, I believe, due to desaturation.
At the moment (and not for long) I'm using GIMP and do not know if it's my mistake in the process of PP or thing is in part due to the program. Essendomene however noticed I tried to remedy the situation but with the actual results are not optimal.
In any case, in the end, the overall result of the post I liked and here is the picture! :-)
Thank you very much for your intervention, constructive criticism I need to improve and are always welcome! ;-)
A salutone!
Michela

Composition and desaturation of extreme delicacy. I love it.
Congratulations, Michael, a "staple" of color in the "gray" of the pond ...
Very nice also the choice of composition.

Congratulations and greetings,

Adolfo

Refined and elegant ... Color "soft" and bn soft ... However, I do not want to, I would have preferred all in bn.

Hello Michael, in fact the original photo is in sharp focus on the lily pads, I also believe that it is due to the optical effect made desaturation ;-) fact remains that the photo is beautiful, it is only one small detail:-P :-P a salutone

Dear Flavio, I figured if "I want you"!
The proof in total b / w I've clearly made but it seemed to me that the image is too turned off and it was a crime:-D totally give up the colorof these magnificent flowers. In this case you should just say de gustibus non est disputandum ;-)

Greetings to all of you!

Nice idea of ??the "two-tone" I would say that there is. PDR, and blurred background are three elements of this well managed.
