Very legitimate question and your answers which I did not know when I started my adventure macro now 5 years ago. I can only say that it is quite possible, in this photo say it is even more difficult given the lightness of the perch and the composition range. I'm saying that the 14 images that compose it are not a perfect overlap but when they are cast by a focus stacking software it is able to align them with each other and result in the image you see. I too was skeptical at first then with a bit of prove I achieved the result you see.

Domanda assai lecita la tua e a cui anch'io non sapevo dare risposte quando iniziai la mia avventura macro ormai 5 anni fa. Ti posso solo dire che è possibilissimo, in questa foto dire che è ancora più difficile vista la leggerezza dei posatoi e la compo ampia. Ti dico solo che le 14 immagini che la compongono sono non una sovrapposizione perfetta ma quando vengono fuse da un software per focus stacking esso è in grado di allinearle tra loro e dare come risultato l'immagine che vedi. Anch'io all'inizio ero scettico poi con un pò di prove ho raggiunto il risultato che vedi.
