Il tramonto è stato alle mie spalle e qui è già tardi in una fredda notte d'inverno sulla Sierra Nevada tra California e Nevada, questa particolare colorazione del cielo è stata la fortuna di una formazione nuvolosa a far rimbalzare le luci artificiali di qualche città lì dietro, il freddo intenso della notte ha fatto sì che l'aria limpida riflettesse il fenomeno andando a simulare una bella alba molte ore prima di quella vera; una timida Luna sorta da poco ha aiutato ad illuminare la scena.
