Era il 1993 quando lasciai Casablanca senza che la Moschea fosse stata completata. Ero curiosa di vederla e ci sono tornata... l'ho trovata immensa e bellissima! E' l'edificio religioso più maestoso e sfarzoso delle città. E' uno straordinario connubio di modernità e artigianalità; sono 10000 gli artigiani che hanno lavorato creando fontane di marmo, portali di bronzo e titanio e altro ancora. Il minareto è alto 210 m ed è un punto di riferimento per tutta la città.
