Oggi vi presento il lavoro più grande che io abbia mai realizzato e mi dilungherò nel racconto. Il mio primo doppio arco lo scattai nel 2023, e da allora il percorso è stato lungo: attrezzatura, competenze e visione sono cresciute fino a portarmi su una montagna della Spagna del Nord per questa immagine. Ho pianificato lo scatto 3 mesi prima: sapevo che sarei stato in Spagna a marzo e volevo realizzare un doppio arco. Dopo molta ricerca ho trovato questo luogo: due laghi visibili contemporaneamente, immersi nel buio totale. Arriviamo al confine dopo 2 giorni di viaggio, controlliamo il meteo e l’unica notte serena è quella successiva. Cambiamo completamente i piani e facciamo 400 km extra (oltre ai 1.600 già fatti) per raggiungerlo. Meteo perfetto, pomeriggio di scouting e preparazione mentale. Quella notte abbiamo iniziato a scattare alle 20:30 e finito alle 6:30, senza fermarci mai, girando quel luogo per ore. A rendere tutto ancora più surreale, la luce zodiacale era perfettamente visibile ad occhio nudo: un fascio di luce che si alzava dall’orizzonte e attraversava il cielo. Uno di quei momenti in cui ti fermi e realizzi davvero dove sei. Per ottenere il massimo della qualità ho realizzato una panoramica a 360° per il primo piano, mentre per il cielo ho scattato due panoramiche per ogni sessione: una con filtro per ridurre l’inquinamento luminoso e una per mantenere l’airglow. Tutto è stato eseguito in astroinseguimento. Ho poi aggiunto l’H-alpha per le nebulose. Ore di scatto sul campo e un lavoro complesso in post, vista la quantità di materiale. Il tutto è stato realizzato con canonitaliaspa Eos R + Canon 6D + tamron_italia 17-35 + brightin.star 12mm F2.8 + Filtri Astronomik CLS + H-Alpha 12nm + Astroinseguitore moveshootmove Nomad
