Il massiccio del Monte Rosa ripreso dal Belvedere Motta di Albugnano (AT), a circa 100 km di distanza. La luce radente di una mattina invernale del 7 febbraio illumina progressivamente le cime innevate, mentre una nube lenticolare si distende sopra la cresta principale. Informazioni aggiuntive: la piramide sul terzo di sinistra dovrebbe essere Punta Dufour o Nordend; la lunga cresta successiva dovrebbe essere l’area Lyskamm–Castore–Polluce.
