Senza dubbio, trovandosi davanti a una scena come questa, dopo oltre dieci anni di visite regolari in questo parco, bastano pochi istanti per capire che stai assistendo a qualcosa che probabilmente non rivedrai mai più nella vita. Nel pomeriggio uno stambecco era rimasto vittima di una valanga. Il giorno seguente, quando le prime termiche hanno iniziato a sollevarsi lungo i versanti, un giovane gipeto, perlustrando il territorio dall’alto, ha individuato la carcassa, già in parte consumata durante la notte da altri carnivori, ed è sceso a terra, regalandomi un avvistamento raro e potentissimo. La posizione era perfetta, la luce pulita, l’ambiente intatto. E davanti a me uno degli animali più preziosi delle nostre Alpi. Non è forse questo un momento unico?
