Incontrarmi con lei, pelle scura e occhi verdi, riflessiva e inquieta al tempo stesso, lì, nel cuore dei Sassi di Matera, mi ha posto al cospetto di una storia affascinante e impegnativa. Ha toccato il significato profondo di valori fondamentali come coerenza e integrità, quelle che l'hanno portata a rimanere fedele al suo modo di interpretare la gioielleria artigianale in un luogo e un tempo, dove ben più facile sarebbe stato arrendersi a proporre banali chincaglierie per greggi di turisti. E ho potuto percepire la bellezza della storia di una giovane donna che insieme al suo compagno di sempre, animati da coraggio ed entusiasmo, scelse anni fa un progetto di vita e lavoro che l'avrebbe condotta in questa città madre, in grado di trasmetterti l'illusione che tutte le strade percorse dall'uomo è da qui che si siano dipanate. E mi ha restituito il senso dell'amore vero, anche quando tormentato e complesso, che sa sopravvivere all'inverno della perdita. __________________ Matera (MT);
