Palazzo residenziale dei tempi di Stalin in lungofiume. sono stati costruiti 7 grattacieli (le cosí dette Sette Sorelle). quello ottavo e centrale, che doveva completare questo complesso monumentale, non é stato costruito. Le Sette Sorelle come complesso é uno dei simboli piú importanti di Mosca. la loro costruzione é stata iniziata nel 1947, cioé poco dopo la Vittoria in guerra contro la Germania nazista, e a 800 anniversario della fondazione della cittá di Mosca (nel 1147).
