Fiumedinisi è un comune della provincia di Messina, sorge a 190m. s.l.m. Eretto sulla sponda destra dell'omonimo fiume. Si trova inoltre nella riserva naturale orientata Fiumedinisi e monte Scuderi. Riserva che comprende oltre monte Scuderi altre tra le cime più importanti dei monti Peloritani. Nello stesso territorio la sorgente della Santissima principale approvvigionamento di Acqua potabile per la città di Messina. Grazie Alessandro, son lieto per il tuo apprezzamento a scatto e didascalia. Una vetta della catena dei moti Peloritani. si continuano verso Palermo con i monti Nebrodi e poi le Madonie a costituire la catena dell'Appennino Siculo
I monti peloritani detti in dialetto siciliano "i coddi" cioè "i colli" sono costituiti prevalentemente da rocce di antica formazione, sono in parte di origine magmatica e in parte metamorfica.
