La Groenlandia è una terra di asprezza e contrasti. Buia e gelida d'inverno, d'estate cambia volto e si immerge in mesi di luce solare ininterrotta. All'orizzonte troneggia il magnifico Sermeq Kujalleq (Ilulissat Glacier), uno dei ghiacciai più attivi al mondo. Dopo un lungo periodo in cui il sole non tramonta mai, il primo tocco dell'orizzonte avviene a fine luglio/inizio agosto regalando una luce incredibile che illumina la baia e i suoi iceberg ed è proprio questo il momento magico in cui salpare tra questi giganti di ghiaccio, catturando la bellezza della "notte artica" in tutto il suo splendore.
