Now that I think about it, the background is practically devoid of the typical rings of catadioptrics, a wise choice.

It's really surprising how beautiful the lens renders the image. And it would not be visible without doing a great job. Thanks Juza.
I remember that the lens very well. It was in the Nikon catalog I had. The lens had no price tag. There was only written "price only on request". Hard times for me there were many gems in the catalog I could not afford.

It is one of those lenses that Nikon, at the time, did more than for real use or sales prospects, to promote its image as a professional manufacturer

I'm wondering how much the DF's wonderful sensor can affect the final result. Because the quality of this catadioptric caranco is truly surprising... :-D

It must be said that the light was also what it was, but I would certainly have tried differently.

Beyond the compliments, both to the image and to the -beautiful-model (which I share!!), the aspect that struck me most is the LACK of crushing of the planes. With all due respect to the "senators" who "sanction" it as a 135 mm. is "inadequate" for portraiture, because it "glues" the tip of the nose to the ears! Amen! GL

E citava i vecchi Voigtlander (Ultron e Nokton) o Leica (Summilux 80/1,4).
