Marmore Falls sent on October 04, 2025 (9:31) by Maxbottax. 61 comments, 677 views. [retina]

at 27mm, 1/5 f/22.0, ISO 100, tripod.

@ President Gazebo, Stefania, Pinitti, Sergio, Silvio, Elisabetta & Agata :
day of water but not at the waterfalls, but at the sea on October 5th, here in Sanremo.
I am returning now and I find your comments with great pleasure and I am very happy that you have appreciated and dedicated time to this series from the Marmore.
Have a good start to the week.

Hello photos, all very nice.
Interesting as usual the caption, on how the place is I cannot, personally judge, having never been there, but knowing the Italian peninsula and how certain places are left I am not surprised by what you said about neglect.
We have everything and more and we don't know how to enhance it, foreigners in our place and with our heritage I don't know what they would do....
Anyway still good and good light.

@ Mary, Mario, WarsZ, Maurizio, Pietro, Simone & Nikcola :
I wanted to do them like this and I left Sanremo already with that idea, so much so that I put the tripod in the trunk.
Then on success or not, you are the referees.
It seems to me that it went well also because repeating is not very feasible.
Best regards,
Massimo

The effect you gave to the water is beautiful, in this verdant glimpse between portions in light and others in shadow. In this way, I find that not only the waterfall rises to the protagonist, but that the thick vegetal scrub that frames it, like a treasure chest, also carves out a little attention.
The story about the location is bitter, especially if we consider that abroad attractions much less famous and picturesque than this waterfall are often enhanced with unjustified emphasis.
Congratulations Massimo and a warm greeting!
Andrea

The whole series is very beautiful, you confirm yourself as a photographer with a capital F even when you don't use beautiful models :-D
A very dear greeting
Paolo
