Arrivare al tramonto e fermarsi fino al crepuscolo ha permesso alla luce di esaltare i colori delle rocce di queste montagne in Ladakh . La variopinta colorazione è sicuramente dovuta ad una storia geologica , a me sconosciuta, in cui si sono depositati e stratificati diversi minerali! Qui siamo vicini alla catena del Karakorum, ma non ci sono ghiacciai. Si intravede una stupa buddista bianca .
