Lo Hyalinobatrachium aureoguttatum, noto come Rana di Vetro del Sole, è una specie di rana della famiglia Centrolenidae. È presente nelle foreste pluviali primarie di pianura, e nelle foreste nebulose subandine dell'Ecuador settentrionale, del Chocó della Colombia e della parte orientale di Panama, da quasi il livello del mare fino a 1.500 m. La rana è lunga 20-24 mm. La sua superficie ventrale è trasparente. Si trova sulla vegetazione vicina ai corsi d'acqua. La covata può raggiungere le 35 uova; le uova sono verdi e racchiuse in una massa gelatinosa e vengono deposte sulla superficie inferiore delle foglie. Le coppie rimangono a guardia delle uova. Dopo la schiusa, i girini cadono in acqua. È una specie abbastanza comune, ma almeno localmente minacciata dalla perdita di habitat. È presente in diverse aree protette.
