ll Palazzo Nazionale di Sintra, Portogallo. È un palazzo storico risalente al periodo della dominazione araba, citato già dall'XI secolo. È famoso per i suoi due grandi camini conici alti 33 metri che coronano la cucina reale e sono diventati il simbolo della città di Sintra. Il palazzo presenta un mix di stili architettonici medievale, gotico, manuelino, moresco e rinascimentale, riflettendo le varie epoche in cui è stato costruito e ampliato. Per quasi otto secoli è stato residenza dei monarchi portoghesi, con preziosi interni che conservano arredi e stanze storiche di grande valore. Dal 1910 è dichiarato monumento nazionale e offre una visita che consente anche di scoprire la storia del Portogallo attraverso le sue sale e la decorazione con azulejos tradizionali.
