L'alba a Matera che, a ovest, finisce con una punta sull'orlo dei burroni della Murgia. E' una delle parti più antiche della città. Guardando bene si vedono case grotta oggi ristrutturate ed edifici medioevali di periodi diversi. Purtroppo c'è anche una casa moderna. Coloro che hanno dato la licenza dovrebbero essere condannati a morte, dai fotografi almeno. Però, a ben pensarci, dal punto di vista storico forse hanno ragione loro perchè hanno allungato fino ai tempi moderni l'infinita storia di quella città.
