Beautiful image, macro and model!
The light that filters through the lattice of the wings creates beautiful iridescence.
Happy Sunday.

Forgive me, but personally I go a little against the tide.
On a compositional level, I would say that the photo is more than fine, what in my opinion does not add up is the high brightness on the abdomen. In fact, in several places you are on the limit or even clipped.
Working freehand it is not easy to be able to have a correct parallelism such as a right sharpness on the subject, perhaps since the optics allowed it you would have had to close the diaphragm more at the expense of time to gain pdc, probably the sharpness of the dragonfly would have improved while in this case the abdomen and especially the caudal part are not very sharp, of course, always taking care of the parallelism as far as the free hand allows it.

Understood Pier.. Thank you..!!! I wanted the wings a bit blurred though.. in fact I also have shots with a smaller aperture .. but the sharpness on the body/head is practically the same. but the wings are more in focus and without those reflections that I liked. And even the background doesn't stay so pleasant. Then the brightness on the abdomen is the brightness of the Wings reflection. you can't see the abdomen... it is covered.

you can't see the abdomen.. is covered.

Only in a very small part, in fact, it starts from the thorax and reaches the cerci

Well.. but sacrifice the photo... (background.. reflection wings.. ) for a little more abdomen.. ?!
I'll also put the one with the most closed diaphragm.. who knows if at least that one deserves your like.. :-D (joke Pier.. ;-) )

This Dragonfly model of yours wrapped in a very clear light is splendid. The title is curious, it seems of dialectal origin, doesn't it?
Have a good Sunday,
Roberto

I think so, Roberto.. Here in Biella we call them Pista Pistun. I thought that in other places it was like that too. but apparently it is not .. :-D
