excuse me for asking Bern .... but the place is easily accessible: just a simple walk to get there, or the equipment is used by climbing / rock climbing?? .... I do not think that people are equipped, they appear to be Picnic in uniform :-)

Ciao;-)

With a simple walk of an hour and a half / two hours to get there safely, without difficulty .....

Ah, what a place and shooting just fantastic! I still eat my hands not to be gone when I was in Norway. :-)

Ciao Mario.

I was referring to Kjeragbolten, a huge boulder stuck in a rift over the abyss that is always located on the opposite side of Lysefjord Pulpit, and is famous for jumping over the boulder and base jumping.

Complimenti!

Ilario

Excellent framing your subject with the background to the fjord. So framed from above I had not seen yet.
Congratulations!

Hilary

great shot .. I've been there too (2 times on two consecutive days, in search of better weather but it has never been so good), but unfortunately I have not found an anointed shooting so beautiful!

Great place .. I was also Kjeragbolten, as you can see from my profile picture (not avatar) .. Another spectacular place on the same fjord .. :)

Ciao;-)

Thanks for the post :-)
So the Kjeragbolten is located on top of the fjord, at a distance of 30-40 km from the Preikestolen and to get there you take a nice walk ......
Unfortunately when I was over there (in 2007, after returning from Iceland), the tour guides that I had said nothing of that place, otherwise, since I was there, I would have tried to go there ..... :-(
Hello ;-)

hum, is on the other side of the fjord also ... In short them together in the same day prticamente is impossible! I made 3 trips un'ammazzata with in 3 days (2 preike and then Kjerag) ... knees off for 2 weeks:-D

For that matter, I had to ricapitare those parts (not really there, but not far away) I would like to make even the "Trolltunga":-D

I see you still fond of Norway (see avatar from Oslo park) ... no?

Ciao;-)

I believe that it is impossible to do both in the day ......
Just traveling fit me almost all the destinations ..... :-)
The Vigeland Park in Oslo I really like (I've visited twice) and this child throwing a tantrum struck me from the first time ......

www.juzaphoto.com/destinazioni.php?d=preikestolen&l=it

Hello Bern if you are interested, or if its interesting to someone else, I created a while ago Destination tab of this area ... I pippato are also another couple of miles to see it and photograph it from the rock wall in front of ... A fantastic place! Worth the long walk!

Here's the link if you want to add it to your photo in the field.

Ciao;-)

Thanks for the information, I did not know that there was a card ..... :-|
I, too, after being there above, I bypassed the pulpit and I have kept more or less the same point from where you have photographed .....
The fact is that the photo from that angle is useful as a document, but is less spectacular .....
Hello ;-)

They are decisions of the moment .... I would not have even thought about taking you from where you took, and only now I realize that I was wrong! :-( I was so taken by climbing ...

The message Casanovami I suggest you post another image, made from the position that he has suggested to me (you have to make a turn wide enough to get there .......)

Bella also this your version without anything on top (maybe the sky is almost over) ... WOW:-P've found a great location ... I had my wife, who was waiting for me in the pulpit and I have not had much time to think the composition and look for the right place where to shoot .... : Fconfuso:
then quickly, in dangerous places like these, it is a very bad counselor so I wanted to go further in order not to make the last dive of my life .... you've seen the place and you know what I mean ;-)

Ciao;-)

I took a ride off, leaving my wife on the platform, and I found this point without risking anything (keep in mind that I was a fairly good climber .....)
Those who have risked something are the two individuals in the upper left (in dark suits, very hard to see) that were really on the brink of the precipice ...... wow wow wow!
Hello ;-)
