La leggenda del fantasma di Margherita. Si aggira tutt'ora tra le mura del Castello di Tures, e i suoi pianti e lamenti si avvertono specialmente di notte. La nobile Margherita, intorno al 1500, si innamorò, contrastata dalla famiglia, di un ragazzo di basso ceto sociale. Il matrimonio avvenne ugualmente ma il giorno delle nozze uno dei parenti scagliò una freccia contro lo sposo e lo colpì al cuore. Uccidendolo. Margherita per sette anni versò lacrime e urlò dal dolore, nella Stanza delle Streghe. Poi, non reggendo più al dolore, si gettò dalla torre più alta del castello. Breve storia del Castello di Tures : I Signori di Tures furono i primi proprietari intorno all'anno 1136, poi però nel 1340 la famiglia non ebbe più successori e il castello passò nelle mani di diversi proprietari, fino a versare in condizioni di abbandono. Fu restaurato da Ludwig Lobmayr all'inizio del XX secolo e poi di nuovo nel 1945 da Hieronymus Gassner, procuratore generale dell'ordine dei benedettini austriaci a Roma Il mastio, la torre abitabile con le doppie finestre ad arco e la cappella del castello in stile romanico risalgono all'epoca dei Signori di Tures, la parte gotica a quella dei Vescovi di Bressanone. I portoni, i ponti levatoi ed il granaio furono aggiunti nel 1500. Nel 1977 l'Istituto dei Castelli dell'Alto Adige entró in possesso del Castello di Tures e oggi un terzo dell'intera struttura é accessibile al pubblico. (informazioni prese qua e la su internet)
