Carcassonne è una spettacolare cittadella fortificata medievale che sembra uscita da un libro di favole, con una doppia cinta muraria, 4 porte e 52 torri. Situata nel sud della Francia, non lontano dalla Spagna, Carcassonne seduce i visitatori con la sua anima medievale e il suo aspetto che sembra congelato nel tempo. Carcassonne è una delle cinque città più turistiche della Francia e deve la sua fama globale alla natura straordinaria del suo patrimonio storico. Con due siti inscritti nella lista UNESCO, la città medievale e il Canal du Midi, Carcassonne affascina e incanta con i suoi bastioni medievali, le sue cinta murarie e le sue torri perfettamente conservate. Carcassonne è arroccata su una collina della Linguadoca, nel sud della Francia, proprio nel mezzo della pianura dell'Aude. Imperdibile il giro delle mura, da dove potrete scattare fotografie eccezionali sulla città, passeggiando negli stretti cammini di ronda. All'interno della cittadella si nasconde un borgo ricco di bar, negozi e taverne in stile medievale: nonostante la vocazione spiccatamente turistica, l'atmosfera antica non è stata snaturata ed è un vero piacere scoprire i vicoli e le piccole piazze nascoste all'interno di Carcassonne. Buona visione. Quando ho fotografato questa meraviglia intorno alle 7 di una fresca mattina di aprile ho pensato intensamente all'amico Renaud Run66 del sud della Francia che aveva dedicato alcuni anni fa un bel reportage su Carcassone su Juza.
