I had planned the photo for some time with Photopills... The moon would rise from behind the Colosseum during sunset. The idea was precisely to film the event with the monuments still illuminated by the last rays, but unfortunately, as often happens, the weather conditions that day were not favorable and, already in the morning, there were conspicuous clouds that did not bode well.
At 6 pm the situation got even worse; I decided to try anyway by resuming the only moment of visibility; the moon then, in its motion, went behind the thick blanket of clouds... A pinch of luck Ringrazio tutti per i commenti.
La foto l'avevo programmata da tempo con Photopills...La luna sarebbe sorta da dietro il Colosseo durante il tramonto del sole. L'idea era proprio di riprendere l'evento con ancora i monumenti illuminati dagli ultimi raggi, ma purtroppo, come spesso accade, le condizioni meteo, quel giorno, non erano favorevoli e, già dalla mattina, c'erano velature vistose che non lasciavano ben sperare.
Alle 18 la situazione è ulteriormente peggiora; ho deciso comunque di tentare riprendendo l'unico momento di visibilità; la luna poi, nel suo moto, è andata dietro la spessa coltre di nubi...Un pizzico di fortuna |

As already mentioned, it was a bit of luck.
I had planned this photo for a long time; the moon would rise from behind the Colosseum with the sun that, close to sunset, would still illuminate with its last rays, the forums and the amphitheater itself. That day, however, the weather was adverse, with cloud cover and various clouds... I had almost given up but then I wanted to try anyway and - as already said - I was lucky to catch the only moment of visibility of the moon. Grazie Renni e Franco.

Avevo programmato questa foto da tempo; la luna sarebbe sorta da dietro il Colosseo con il sole che, prossimo al tramonto, avrebbe ancora illuminato con i suoi ultimi raggi, i fori ed lo stesso anfiteatro. Quel giorno, invece, il meteo è stato avverso, con copertura nuvolosa e velature varie...Avevo quasi rinunciato ma poi ho voluto tentare comunque e - come già detto - sono stato fortunato a cogliere l'unico momento di visibilità della luna. |
