Progetto sulla memoria al Castello di Polcenigo, Fvg. Con Cristina Gattel. Febbraio 2025. Lunga esp. + multi esp. -------- La morte durevole, la vita sfuggevole. ------ #sentieri Dal centro della cittadina di Polcenigo puoi salire il sentiero lasciandoti alle spalle la chiesa di San Giacomo Apostolo ed arrivare al colle dove sorgono le rovine del Castello. Di quel che sappiamo nel 963 d.c. l'imperatore Ottone I donava il Castello a Giovanni Vescovo di Belluno, che a sua volta investì del feudo il capitano d'arme Fantuccio, rappresentante di una famiglia che divenne quella dei conti di Polcenigo. Nel 1411 i friulani incendiarono il borgo di danneggiando anche il castello, così dal 1730 il castello fu dichiarato “caduto in rovina”. Durante la prima guerra mondiale fu colpito dalle incursioni austriache e dal bombardamento del 7 novembre 1917. Ci pensò il terremoto del 1976 a danneggiarlo definitivamente e ormai in ruderi fu consolidato nel 1979 a opera della Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia. #rovine Albert Speer era un architetto tedesco, processato a Norimberga con l'accusa di aver utilizzato manodopera in condizioni di schiavitù per mandare avanti l'industria bellica durante in nazismo. Sentiamo chiederci: ciò che nel tempo sopravvive e ancora si vede, statico e fermo come una rovina è quindi morto? Ciò che invece sfugge alla vista e che però sappiamo per certo essere stato vita forse ancora si muove? Come una danza? Impalpabile come un'assenza?
