, 1/8 f/32.0, ISO 100, tripod. Rimini, Italy.

It's an intimate and touching shot, Giuseppe!
If it had been possible, a little more space above the bench would have helped in his "participation" in the scene.

Caption and image that leave you thinking..... I join those who have expressed obvious but opportune (given the times we live in) against the conflict. Nothing will change but knowing that the English Commonwealth remembers these tombstones and that the roses give color to the graves of these forgotten soldiers gives me a sense of relief.

It is a rightly sad shot, and it makes us think widely.
Congratulations Giuseppe!

It is sad that no one goes for a prayer or a thank you anymore.
Also understandable. The new generations do not feel the drama that took place.
And the echo has now died down.
San Martino del Carso
Of these houses there
is
only a few
shreds of wall
left Of so many
that corresponded to me

There is not even much
left But in the heart
No cross is missing
It is my heart
The most torn village
Giuseppe Ungaretti

In our hearts there is no longer any cross.
Thanks for the photo.

I see Giuseppe a change of subjects
You were the Master of Flowers
Your photographs reminded me of visions of the East
Now I feel an even greater sensitivity, less formal and freer in its marked expressiveness.

Giving one's life for others and being forgotten :-(
History repeats itself and we have learned nothing.
Of great impact and reflection
Congratulations Giuseppe

Melancholy is a human feeling, and it is right to remember those who fell to defend our territory.
But inexorably time spreads a veil of oblivion: however, our Father, true consolation, will always be remembered of all of us.
A sad document, but I hope that now they can rejoice elsewhere.
A warm greeting Giuseppe
