Quella notte ci siamo recati al Kirkjufell, speranzosi di cogliere lo spettacolo nella cornice dell'iconico monte ma, ahimè, le postazioni di fronte alla cascatella erano sovraffollate per la presenza di numerosi fotografi. Abbiamo allora fatto il giro del laghetto, cercando punti di ripresa alternativi. Verso le 2 del mattino l'attività iniziava ad affievolirsi e abbiamo deciso di rientrare. Sulla strada del rientro ci siamo fermati a fare qualche ultimo scatto dalla spiaggetta ai piedi della cascatella, quand'ecco che l'aurora torna a formare un arco brillante! Ho chiesto all'amica di non muoversi per tentare di comporre una panoramica con la sia figura umana et voilà!

For the pan I use the incorrect shots, they mount much better than the straightened ones! I took a series of vertical shots without taking shots dedicated to the sky and the landscape, in rapid sequence because the aurora moves quite quickly! :-)
