Farsi la barba è una scocciatura. Farsi la barba è un piacere. Ho un ricordo antico di mio padre che, giovane, si rade col suo gillette a farfalla, pennello omega, palmonive verde e aqua velva. Dovevo avere una strana espressione, perché nel mio ricordo di bambino mio padre mi guarda mentre lo osservo e ride divertito. Radersi credo possa diventare un rito. Un qualcosa quasi di pagano, di antico che, più che propizia, scaccia qualcosa di negativo. Un po' come i rituali di purificazione a cui sono legate molte religioni, purificazione che passa sempre attraverso l'acqua (come ad esempio nel battesimo). Auguro a tutti i “maschietti” di Juza di scacciare con questa ultima rasatura del 2024 i fantasmi, le ansie, i pensieri negativi che qualche volta si sono presentati nel corso dell'anno, per arrivare pieni di gioia, forza e speranza al nuovo anno. Alle donne di Juza dedico la bellezza dei miei ricordi che posso esprimere solo parzialmente a parole, con l'augurio che il nuovo anno sia per tutti noi scintillante e gioioso.
