Cerco nel loro sguardo ciò che non trovo in quello dei miei simili... Ho incontrato nuovamente una volpe. Uno sguardo amico, silenzióso, discreto e penetrante! Uno sguardo che esprìme, che tocca in profondità l'animo predisposto! L'ho incontrata di nuovo, in una quiète essenziale, nella più totale assenza di voci... Il vento sferzava i pendii, scuotendo il suo pelo ormai ispessito dall'inverno e, i miei capelli... Il suo sguardo penetrànte attraversava il mio cammino. Nelle sue pupille il profilo delle montagne. Osservo la natura, custodendo gelosamente memoria di tutto ciò che incontro, avendo cura di non invàdere i loro segreti e di loro silenzi. Sensibile, ogni qualvolta mi trovo a ricambiare, anche per un solo istante, il loro sguardo.
