These are the wonders of our planet that we desecrate daily. Technology in these situations makes the difference. To be left speechless, congratulations.

Hi Luigi, thank you. I was quite high, about 200/300 meters.

The place is certainly beautiful and singular and the perspective of the drone is the best one to enhance it. For my more "classic" approach to photography, that blood red is a bit difficult to metabolize, because I know that it is more the result of your interpretation than of a documentary intent.
As an "interpretation" or "suggestion" (the metaphor of the eye) this image has certainly succeeded.
Hello, Alberto.

Hi Alberto, thank you for the comment. From the way you write it seems that you know that lake. It makes me strange, however, because that burma red faithfully reflects reality. One of the brightest reds I've ever seen in nature. To tell the truth I wanted to desaturate that crazy red, but in the end, after a summary post (which lasted 10 minutes at most) I left it like that. If you go to my Facebook profile, you will find this photo. Among the comments, you will find those of one of my companions on this trip, she also pointed out that that blood red difficult to metabolize, was exactly like that live.
Good night Alberto.

Hi Fabrizio, no, I don't know that place, I see it here for the first time; My skepticism (which is not meant to be an accusation) is given by the fact that I know how often you interpret your subjects and I don't find anything wrong with it. That's why I thought that this "unnatural" red was partly due to your "interpretation", knowing that the mere representation of reality is not the main intent of your photography.
It is true that with the drone (and I have experienced it myself approaching this type of photography) the "liquid" subjects seen from above sometimes have surprising colors, which we are not used to seeing from our "terrestrial" point of view! ;-)
Thanks for the comparison, good night!
Alberto
