I lived in China for almost ten years and I had a dear friend of Zang ethnicity, Chun Lin, who told me a lot about the customs and traditions of that people who did not recognize any belonging to the state; they did not consider themselves Chinese but Tibetans. Ho vissuto in Cina per quasi dieci anni ed avevo una cara amica di etnia Zang, Chun Lin , che mi raccontò molto di usi e costumi di quel popolo che non riconosceva alcuna appartenenza allo stato; non si consideravano cinesi ma tibetani. Da decenni è in atto la demolizione dell'etnia nativa, come fu per i pellerossa e gli aborigeni, ma in termini meno evidenti, più subdoli, a mezzo di leggi che favoriscono (molto) l'emigrazione di cinesi in Tibet ed i matrimoni "misti" .
