Di primo mattino raggiungiamo il magnifico scenario del forte Amber, che raggiungiamo in groppa al nostro elefante (che documenterò successivamente in un altro scatto). All'interno del forte, accedo al secondo cortile che ospita il Diwan-i o sala delle udienze pubbliche (o più comunemente conosciuta come sala delle colonne), appena mi affaccio vengo subito colpito dalla sinuosità e dalla ripetività delle architetture illuminate da un'intensa luce e sotto una delle volte, affacciata all'esterno scorgo questa figura femminile. La bellissima sala è carettirizzata da una piattaforma con 27 colonne, ciascuna delle quali sormontata da un capitello a forma d'elefante e con gallerie sopra.
