Deve il suo particolare nome ad un'antica credenza secondo la quale succhierebbe le mammelle agli animali al pascolo, mentre nella realtà si nutre semplicemente degli insetti attirati dagli animali..soggetto che avevo osservato per la prima volta in Sudafrica a Febbraio sulle strade sterrate al rientro col buio dai safari, ma mai in Italia..il merito per aver potuto realizzare questo scatto è di mio padre, che mi ha segnalato la sua presenza vicino a casa _ Val Camonica
