Tre anni di tentativi per questa foto, dove sono sempre stato molto attento a disturbare il meno possibile. Monitoro il rendez-vous (questa è la terza cucciolata di questo branco) solo con fototrappole a led invisibili, controllandole solo una volta al mese e nel modo più rapido possibile. Sapevo che in questo periodo i cuccioli iniziano ad abbandonare sempre più spesso il rendez-vous (luogo dove vengono portati dai genitori per lo svezzamento) ed iniziano ad esplorare in autonomia il territorio circostante. Già l'anno scorso avevo ripreso con le videotrappole i cuccioli di allora in questa zona impervia abbastanza distante dalla zona riproduttiva, così quest'anno ho piazzato qui due reflex trap (fototrappolaggio naturalistico in alta qualità) e grazie ad un sensore termico e due flash ho ottenuto questa foto di quattro cuccioli di circa tre mesi.
