Questo antico rione, facente parte del comune di Pisticci, inizialmente era conosciuto con il nome di Casalnuovo ma nel 1688 una frana lo distrusse completamente, causando la morte di circa 400 persone. Nonostante questo triste evento, però, la popolazione si rifiutò di abbandonare quel luogo per trasferirsi a valle. Così si decise di costruire circa 300 casette utilizzando i materiali di scarto. Il risultato fu la creazione di un nuovo rione che si contraddistingueva per la presenza di queste caratteristiche casette filari collegate da scale e piccoli vicoletti #Blu #BlueHour #Borghi #BorghiItalia #Cielo #LungheEsposizioni #OraBlu #Sky
