Ciao cari amici, una foto di un recente viaggio in Scozia: castello di Dunvegan. CLAN MACLEOD !Si trova sull'Isola di Skye a circa un miglio a nord del villaggio di Dunvegan e si erge su uno sperone roccioso che domina la riva del Loch Dunvegan. Qui un tempo c'era una antica fortezza, ma l'attuale struttura del castello si ritiene risalga al 1266 circa. Il luogo era circondato da una cinta muraria che proteggeva completamente il promontorio su cui sorge il castello. Tanto che, fino al 1748 , l'unica possibilità di entrata era dal mare, un accesso che è tutt'ora presente. Abitato dal clan MacLeod, per 800 anni !! storia affascinante davvero ! grazie in anticipo per ogni visita, commento e consiglio !
