Una fusione perfetta tra cielo, terra e mare: il Centro Botín di Santander incarna pienamente questa descrizione. Il complesso architettonico è formato da due corpi arrotondati, collegati tra loro da una serie di passerelle in acciaio e vetro che creano una piazza elevata dalla quale, attraverso scalinate ed ascensori, è possibile accedere al centro. Da qui si estende, per venti metri oltre il molo, un vero e proprio trampolino sul mare.
