File originale ridimensionato a 16,93 MP. - Si consiglia la visione del file in alta definizione. Nelle prime settimane di vita dei nuovi pulli, le sterne divengono più litigiose del solito. Solitamente queste diatribe vengono provocate da soggetti che non hanno avuto prole e che attaccano le coppie di neo genitori nella speranza di sottrargli il pullo, o forse solo per una sorta di invidia malcelata. Quasi sempre la cosa si risolve in una interminabile serie di schiamazzi e qualche “duello” coi becchi, ma nulla più. In ogni caso il pullo, se percepisce una reale situazione di pericolo, ricorre alla tanatosi, buttandosi a terra e rimanendo immobile, fingendo di essere morto. Questa foto fa parte di una sequenza di cinque scatti, che documenta uno degli attacchi succitati.
