The fluidity of the swell brings this great shot closer to a painting. Congratulations for the insight

Tell the truth Alberto, you did it with a brush! :-D
It's gorgeous, looking at it you will be enchanted!

Thank you Renato and Marcello, very kind! :-)
Tell the truth Alberto, you did it with a brush!
No, but that's what I wanted to achieve! :-D I'll let you in on a "secret": the flow lines so evident (so much so that they seem to be brushstrokes) are due to the light condition (at sunset) and the more or less large particles that the river carried, as well as the presence of boulders immediately below the surface. When shooting, it was a matter of getting the right exposure time for that speed of the water. In post I only worked on the contrasts (global, soft and local, more pronounced) to emphasize the flow lines. ;-)
Hello, Alberto.

Awesome shot! I really like to play with shutter speeds when photographing water, even a difference of very few fractions of a second gives completely different photos... And looking for the right time to communicate what we feel is an effort that I really appreciate!
Congratulations for these artistic brushstrokes, it looks like a painting, really remarkable. Such a simple shot that hits so much is note mark (in my opinion).
Have a nice day!

I also thank Giorgia, Caterina, Davide and Tartara for the visit and Marcello for the return! ;-)
Such a simple shot that strikes so much is a sign of note (in my opinion)
I'm glad to read these words of yours, Giorgia, because those who know me know how much value I give to simplicity in my shots! Simple does not mean easy, banal, or obvious: for me it means synthetic, direct, immediate. So thank you for picking up on this aspect! :-)
