Er sor parakeet from Garbatella sent on May 01, 2024 (14:22) by TheBlackbird. 34 comments, 663 views. [retina]

at 300mm, 1/1600 f/5.6, ISO 1600, hand held. Roma, Italy. Specie: Psittacula krameri

In fact! At one point I looked at the last series of photos to check the focus and raising the camera there were those 10/20 seconds of embarrassment because I couldn't find it among the branches! :-D
Thank you very much Gianni,
pleased with your appreciation,
a hug

A well-balanced image, I really like to see the subject wrapped in the same color as the vegetation, elegant shot. Very good, bye.

Even in Milan they have spread... As for the damage in general to the ecosystem I don't know, personally I'm "hating" it a bit :D
I have an Apricot and a Medlar in the garden, as soon as they bloom they come and eat all the flowers, result? No apricots and no medlars...
Then in autumn it's the turn of pomegranates...
Some friends have told me that they are also intrusive with certain plants in the planters of their balconies.

Well, I hadn't considered voracity... It would almost be better to put nets on fruit trees if they are not too big in the end.
Gusty and Osvaldo, thank you for your kind visits!
A hug

Thank you Marco!
It is very very man-made nature, but they are still wild in all respects!
