Molto bella

Fills the screen, what about ...
Congratulations also to the technique used (which I know not implement)
Very nice

Dino thank you very much for the nice comment :-)

for the focus stack "serious" it takes the slide micrometer and a whole host of features that go far beyond the position and shoot ;-) and I either did not understand much:-D

in this case I just tried to make a stack very easy to come into focus the part of the "face" of the butterfly because focheggiando eyes there was no way to make her come in focus, even with very closed aperture. taking advantage of its complete immobility and little wind I made several shots, selected the best two and then tie everything together with layer masks :-)

I thank you for explaining that to me, theoretically, was clear.
The problem will come later, when I decide to try. Moreover it must also begin.
You've been very kind to .....
Greetings

Hello Dexter, inanzi all deserved congratulations to you especially, but also to Melitaea for the trust:-D
I have a question, are in possession of the Micro Nikkor 105 mm 2.8, great lens, but I realize that I'll never get to these details if not with a crop, or an extension tube (ambivo the bellows but then I find myself in quarrels for lack of controls on the diaphragm, which of these systems you have used if I know?! having because you are there with a 100 mm focal length! thank you very much and congratulations!

Ciao;-)

I really like the warm light and tonality!
This butterfly bena lends itself to this kind of shots! ;-)
For the use of only 2 shots you got a good result.
Hello ;-)

thanks a lot guys for the steps :-)

@ Silo: I'm glad your appreciation, we are light years away from the "bombs" that you are posting at this time:-D but slowly try to get closer, especially in terms of knowledge of the habits and schedules of the subject (which helps in a very substantial :-))

@ Zellereller: This is a crop of about 20% (for instance in the original there is a good chunk of the club of the antenna on the left) and I was almost at the minimum distance of maf (with all the "trappings" among other : subject property, no wind, tripod, remote shutter release etc.. etc.). want to go over there anyway to force the tubes I know: fconfuso:
