Bevagna - Chiesa di San Francesco . Edificata alla fine del XIII secolo sull'antico oratorio dedicato a San Giovanni Battista, sorge sul luogo più alto della città, dove sicuramente era un tempio romano. La facciata, a capanna, è adorna di un elegante portale polistilo a tutto sesto, con capitelli foliati in marmo. L'interno, ad una sola navata, è stato completamente rinnovato nel XVIII secolo; vi si ammirano dipinti di Dono Doni e Ascensidonio Spacca. Da una piccola porta a destra si accede a una cappella interna con affreschi risalenti al XVI secolo. Accanto all'altare, in una cappella, una pietra sulla quale avrebbe posato i piedi San Francesco quando predicò agli uccelli a Piandarca. La seconda cappella a destra, forse opera di Galeazzo Alessi, conserva un bel tabernacolo del XV secolo; la cupoletta è adorna di terrecotte invetriate attribuite a Santi Buglioni.
