at 115mm, 1/60 f/5.6, ISO 6400, hand held. Venezia, Italy.

BUONA PASQUA a tutti, carissimi amici. HAPPY EASTER to everyone, dear friends.

I like the photo and the symbolism it brings with it.
I agree with the stylistic choice to leave the Crucifix almost totally in the dark.
I read with interest, sharing in full your thoughts in the caption.

Poor me, who forgot that Christ, who set him aside, who exercised my freedom by always listening to the most comfortable voice, the one that gave me the most satisfaction, importance and glory.
That Christ is there to remind me that the only power I have is to love; that alone I am nothing. It is an open door for me, every day, every moment, in every circumstance; if I want.
For everything else that does not depend on me, his will be done.
Thank you Paul. Happy Easter to all

An image that deviates from your standard of colors and geometries. A more apt title to describe this unthinkable moment even among the most pessimistic. I remember that someone philosophized about the time of the pandemic that it could be a great opportunity to improve everyone. But man is the most self-defeating and selfish cynical man who has ever trodden our planet. Satan prevails, and that man on the cross has not brought forth any teaching. History teaches, but man does not learn. Bravo Paolo.
happy Easter.
Bye gios ;-)

Image with a strong emotional impact; Together with your considerations, expressed in the caption and which cannot be disagreed, it is an invitation to reflect on the turn that human events are taking.
Happy Easter, Paul.
