They are relentless, aggressive and I read that they eat EVERYTHING, even fish and small reptiles and amphibians, things that you can easily find on the lakeside...
Thank you Raimondo, greetings.

Thanks again! Basically, I cropped a 1:1 crop (a square) from the original 3:2 photo, I applied ACR's AI-enhanced noise reduction (the shot is from Feb 2019, it didn't exist then, and it's just over iso 8000, thinking about it I could have avoided f11 but I was in a hurry) and I zoomed everything in with Topaz software (which also refines the details a lot and takes away further noise).
Greetings.

Thank you!
Yes, I caught it with the sun on my forehead, and I didn't even think it would come out so well in focus (ok 1/1600, but I hadn't even put the AF-C on!).

Hi Claudio, it is difficult to photograph the cunning grey crow and equally difficult to enhance for its dull plumage. You have posted a wonderful portrait enriched by beautiful quality of warm light. Deserving. Well done, have a nice weekend, bye.

Thank you! She hadn't noticed me! I must say that some of them are bold and aggressive, and they allow themselves to be approached by shaking their heads as if threatening (while croaking). In the city there are several reported cases (also with videos) of real assaults on passers-by.

Beautiful. More than disreputable :-).. very intelligent and therefore unpredictable.
True, the real leap of the last few years is not on sensors but on noise reduction algorithms; I'll have to apply myself to it too ;-)

Thank you! Moreover, investing in current software for noise reduction costs much less than getting a new machine (which often also involves the bunch of new lenses) and makes even machines from 10-12 years ago current again (not to mention that if you want more mpx you can always do it via software with good results).

What a close-up portrait! It's such a rare species in my area...
Congrats!

Thank you!
Here they are very common, even a bit weedy (and, in rare cases, aggressive).
