Appennino reggiano. I cristalli di ghiaccio nel freddo cielo invernale, combinati con i raggi solari, hanno dato origine al fenomeno chiamato Halo 22°. Osservando il cielo, le nuvole intorno e gli alberi lungo la montagna, il particolare fenomeno faceva da sfondo perfetto per un dipinto d'autore. Un alone di 22° è un fenomeno ottico atmosferico che consiste in un alone con un raggio apparente di circa 22° attorno al Sole o alla Luna. Quando è visibile attorno alla Luna, è anche noto come anello lunare, anello della tempesta o alone invernale. Si forma quando la luce del sole o della luna viene rifratta da milioni di cristalli di ghiaccio esagonali sospesi nell'atmosfera.
