Questa foto e' stata fatta durante la prima delle quattro eruzioni nella penisola di Reykjaness in Islanda. Durante il periodo quando questa foto fu scattata la protezione civile spingeva le persone a lascare il sito dopo mezzanote. Quella notte io rimasi indietro fino all'ultimo e, prima di lasciare completamente l'eruzione, decisi di scattare questa foto includendo le persone della squadra del Search and Rescue. Dopo anni qusta foto mi ricorda tutte le avventure e le notti passate vicino alla lava durante le tre eruzioni (non ho avuto tempo di fare nulla durante l'ultima) e tutte le persone che ho incontrato sui sentieri.
