at 18mm, 1/80 f/5.6, ISO 100, hand held.

Excellent documentary shot, interesting and very well done by the way in a beautiful moment of light. I then read the caption carefully and appreciated it as well. Congratulations Nicola.

I was curious, yes, in fact here I am following the path I read in your previous one.
Both the shot and the mural were beautiful, which I did not know at all both as a work and as its genesis.
Definitely interesting, in the hope that these recoveries are not only, so to speak, a façade.

Yes, the fear is always this. Let's hope for the best.
A warm greeting.

A pearl of the Mediterranean with a very ancient history that from the 60s onwards has experienced, not without positive jolts, a slow and deep degradation, even losing memory of its greatness. A demographic, political, economic, cultural correlation.
I hope that this time the "redemption" will be there once again and finally the religious people will flourish again, united and proud of the past who over the centuries have fought against the harshness of the life of the sea and its pitfalls, against a volcano that destroyed it several times, against the Saracens, the Barons and against a thousand other percolations.
Post fata resurgo.
... Hopefully...
