Ho raggiunto questo posto con molta fatica, circa 5 km di trekking e 700 metri di dislivello positivo. Al mio arrivo, a 2.360 metri, con enorme stupore il “Lac Blanc” (un laghetto incastonato tra le montagne) ancora ghiacciato (inusuale per la parte finale del mese di giugno). Attorno a me ancora sprazzi di neve e nessuna fioritura da utilizzare come primo piano nelle mie composizioni. Ho trascorso il tramonto, la notte (al chiaro di luna) e l'alba del giorno successivo alla ricerca della migliore composizione che potesse restituire il senso di vastità che si respira lassù (oltre al freddo :D). Purtroppo le nuvole basse che coprivano le cime attorno a me mi hanno concesso solo qualche istante di luce. Quanto è bastato per riempire il mio cuore della ennesima meraviglia. Davanti ai miei occhi, in un silenzio spezzato solo dall'incedere dell'acqua, un torrente che cade a strapiombo lungo le pareti rocciose e, in fondo, imponente, il massiccio del Monte Bianco e la cima dell'Aiguille Verte (4121 metri).
