Con mia grande sorpresa ho notato, appena ho visionato l'immagine sul pc, che la coccinella ha un aspetto tutt'altro che rassicurante, infatti sulla testa si può notare un disegno alquanto sinistro come se fosse un mostro alieno e subito dopo l'immagine si addolcisce con due cuoricini bianchi e un cuoricino nero sul dorso, ritornando ad essere l'insetto simpatico che piace ed è ben visto da tutti. La presenza di questo insetto nei campi e nell'agricoltura è di fondamentale importanza, è un insetto polifago, sia gli adulti che le larve sono voraci predatori di afidi e possono mangiarne 100 al giorno.
