L'interno dell'edificio, di aspetto rinascimentale, è a pianta a croce latina ad un'unica navata cappelle laterali e con soffitto a cassettoni del Seicento. Tra queste si distinguono la Cappella del Santissimo Sacramento della fine Seicento opera di Nicola Barbioni; la Cappella di San Paolo che presenta l'affresco raffigurante la Conversione sulla via di Damasco di Niccolò Circignani. Nelle pareti laterali del coro sono affrescati due grandi episodi della vita di san Florido e San Crescentino, opera di Marco Benefial del 1747-1749. Gli stalli lignei risalgono alla fine del XVI secolo e sono opera di Raffaellino del Colle. L'altare maggiore è invece della fine del Settecento, ricostruzione di quello precedente distrutto dal terremoto che fece rovinare la cupola sopra l'altare.
