Amore di mamma. Meraviglioso, unico e incondizionato, in tutte le sue manifestazioni, anche quelle del mondo animale. La tenerezza di una mamma per il suo “cucciolo”, a qualsiasi specie appartenga, umana o no, è qualcosa di commovente. Questa leonessa e il suo piccolo si scambiavano effusioni in mezzo all'erba alta, che li rendeva quasi invisibili, protetti dalla vista di possibili nemici e anche dalla nostra, benché fossimo piuttosto vicini. Ma un attimo di quella dolcezza sono riuscita a catturarla. La dedico a tutte le mamme.
