Ciao, oggi propongo un'altra fotografia di Alpini al lavoro datata 1936 - Accanto ai ricoveri, gli Alpini imparavano a costruire strade. Le più semplici erano i sentieri, destinati ai pedoni, che si realizzavano "spianando con il badile il terreno e rompendo con il piccone a fendente e colla gravina le punte sporgenti della roccia"; per le mulattiere, destinate "alla fanteria per due e ai muli per uno", si segnava dapprima il tracciato con delle paline, quindi si facevano brillare dei petardi per intaccare la roccia; con lo stesso procedimento si aprivano le carrarecce, più larghe perché utilizzate "dalla fanteria per quattro e per il passaggio dell'artiglieria", con pendenze raddolcite e frequenti piazzole per lo scambio dei carri. Direttamente collegata all'impiego in guerra era l'istruzione per la costruzione di trinceramenti. Le "trincee di battaglia" erano fatte per tiratori in ginocchio, separate da "larghi intervalli per lasciar libera l'azione offensiva"; i "trinceramenti speditivi" proteggevano invece dal tiro di artiglieria, e richiedevano 3 ore di lavoro; i "trinceramenti rinforzati" comportavano tempi maggiori (circa 5 ore) e raggiungevano un'altezza massima di 1,70m; per sostenere un punto isolato o un punto nevralgico della linea di battaglia, venivano costruite le "ridotte per compagnie", con uno o due fronti rettilinei protetti da una ripiegatura sul fianco e chiusi alla gola.
